Cheeseburger
Arent you excited when you hear this name? My husband is very, very excited, especially when I prepare the meat and season it the way he likes it and it doesnt come from any fast food place. Myself, I am a stew type of girl and not so much a fan of red meat, but ill eat it once in a while on days like this. A beautiful Saturday were this round yellow thing is shining bright on top of our house on this Saturday. If you havent guessed it by now then I will help you, YES, the sun is shining in Germany in January and we spontaneously decided to barbq on our balcony in our electric grill, I know I know, its not charkcoal grill but it does its work just fine temporarily until summer arrives. My husband would grill all year round if he could on our charcoal grill in the garden, but it is kinda cold to go down there and start this procedure. What I also love about grilling is that I can throw anything on there, I love bell peppers, so we grilled those, and hubs likes bacon, but we used bacon bits instead, thats what I had in the fridge. The potatoes were declicious let me tell you, I marinated the peppers and potatoes in the same bowl. The grill marks are awesome, hubby did a great Job. The jalapeno poppers were made in the oven, for hubs, the were from the store and not made from scratch :-/!Sorry about that :). Its alowed to do semi homemade once in a while and if its for my hubby so I couldnt say no :).
This recipe feeds 2 adults
- 250 gr ground beef ( makes 2 125 gr beef patties , or 1 big and the rest small meatball kind for kids )
- salt/peppper ( I used thick sea salt)
I call it our balcony meal, or balkonien food.
XO Katy
