Our Family Goes Dusseldorf

While our Daddy had a meeting and the Euromold 2015 fair in Dusseldorf, our little one and I joined him for an extended weekend. It was oh so relaxing and so much needed vaca time, even if it was short. While Daddy was away Zoe and I had a mommy daughter day and made girl things, such as eating lots of cupcakes lol. I myself make lots of cupcakes and cakes, and Sugarbird Cupcakes in Dusseldorf is a must visit when we are in the Dusseldorf area. The prices are way too expensive, but I know how effort and work cupcakes need. Lets just say that you can treat yourslef once a week with a visit to the store and I guess cupcake lovers like me will pay this amount anyhow :D. They have a huge selection in their menu, milkshakes, cake, cupcakes, breakfast, a weekend breakfast buffet and vegan cupcakes. The blueberry vegan cupcake was delicious and my all time favorite is the yogurete chocolate cupcake. We stayed at Gildors Hotel which is to recommend, our dog was welcome for 20 euros a night though :-/ and the location wasn’t too far from downtown. We purchased a day ticket with the Strassenbahn over 10 euros for 2 adults and could ride all day long. Strassenbahn stop was right in front of the Hotel so this was a huggeee plus. The buses that go to the fair were only one block away, so not that far either. You can ride the Strassenbahn and the buses with the same dayticket, children under 6 are free. We felt very comfortable on our visit at the Hotel and would def book it again. Vistiting Euromold was amazing of course, all this robots and machines, Zoe was watching with excitement but then again she knows her Dad is into this stuff for the longest and she loves Daddys fee dee ( three ) D printer lol, check the cutest video click on the fee dee. Another must go for Breakfast in Dusseldorf Altstadt is the Caffe Bazzar, they have a very big variety of coffee flavours or beans, I myself do not drink coffee anymore but I love the coffee smell, and my husband loves coffee, so we had to visit this caffee. They grind your coffee beans fresh and that gives the coffee a unique fresh taste. Their Breakfast selection is very delicate. I found the caffee in the Prinz magazin and is one of the best ten caffees in the city of Dusselsdorf. Check out some of our pictures taken.
