Jordans
Thats all I hear when its payday from my husband:-/. An expensive hobby he has besides 3DFP ( 3D food printing ) buying Jordan shoes, okay im overdoing it a little, NOT, he used to buy Jordans all the time and in fact he has LOTS of them still in boxes, anyhow, this particular one he wanted for his Bday, and of course, me not interested in Jordans, didnt pay attention and dang, the shoes were sold out in like 15 min after the online release… is it my fault :-/ ? Dont judge me :).
SO, I had this amszing idea, that I would still somehow get him those shoes no matter how.
No, I didnt make this cake myself even if I make fondant cakes and cupcakes for private use 6 years now I just simply didnt have the time for it and ordered it for 69 Euros from Heikes Tortenparadies.
I was amazed by her work, she did amazing, her work was very clean, Im not a pastry chef, but I know a thing or two about cakes, fondant and frosting.
The fondant, was good quality, the buttercream was light and not sugary grainy, the cake was also good ( although I think the cake is bought in squares big pieces, you know, huge the ready cakes for chefs.
Our filling was chocolate buttercream with fresh bananas, ( I tricked hubby into telling me what flavors he would like to eat one day on a cake ).
Let me tell you the surprise was successfull, Jason was speechless when I brought the cake out and everyone singing happy Bday, I will never forget the look on his face. He looked 15 again.

Ps. cake didnt make it 24 hrs :), dont judge us, we love life, the sun and cake.
