Ocra stew- quick recipe- Greek Mpamies

So, I had this ocra can from the turkish market in my pantry for a while, but forgot all about it since my husband is not an Ocra fan ( after today he is though ).

So here is a quick recipe on how I prepare my Ocra, in Greece we usually eat it as a stew. Below  my fast and delicious recipe. You have to give it a try and let me know how it turned out.

Kali Oreksi

  1. one can ocra
  2. salt & pepper as deisred
  3. one whole tomatoe
  4. 2 tbs rapeseed oil ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapeseed#Health_effects )
  5. 3 medium potatoes
  6. water to cover the potatoes
  7. 3 bay leaves
