KALE is a super food and good for you and contains following vitamins:
- Vitamin A: 206% of the RDA (from beta-carotene).
- Vitamin K: 684% of the RDA.
- Vitamin C: 134% of the RDA.
- Vitamin B6: 9% of the RDA.
- Manganese: 26% of the RDA.
- Calcium: 9% of the RDA.
- Copper: 10% of the RDA.
- Potassium: 9% of the RDA.
- Magnesium: 6% of the RDA.
I try to find ways to add it to our diet and dishes besides a smoothie. I am a stew girl, nothing is more welcome to my stomach than a warm country style stew from a pot. You can also throw the ingredients in a slow cooker and leave for work, this will be just very very delicious when you get back. If you leave the Knorr package out of the dish you will also have a gluten free meal. This recipe feeds 8 people and is perfect for winter months or summer also 😀
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 250 gr ground beef
- 1 knorr package (Bauerntopf) if you leave this out you will have a gluten free meal
- 1 can tomatoes
- 300gr kale
- salt & pepper
- 1 cube chicken stock
- 3 liter water
- 2 tbs olive oil
