I havent seen my friend Lorisa since her wedding in 2012 where I was her maid of honor ( had to throw this out there ). I missed her dearly and couldnt wait to see her. Everytime we are apart we miss each other, but then when we see each other its like we were never apart. She lives in Washington State in USA and we live in Germany. We share everything, EVERYTHING. So here she is with her mini, Ivy. We had lots catching up to do, so our schedule for a short week is filled up with a mommy night out, Disneyland, lots of food and spending time with our girls together having fun, which is what we know best. Lorisa and I met 11 years ago. Our boyfriends were roomates in the Army in Germany, yes, she was a soldier and she still is because all good mommies are soldiers protecting their kids, which is what we know how to do best since we have our daughters.
My first thought of her was “meh” but that was just this one time, my now husband Jason, didnt even introduce us right, she was walking down the barracks stairs and I was walking up, so there, not even time to make a real picture of a person. So anyhow, on meeting her the second time and second thought we immediately clicked and the rest is lots and lost of history and classified prior kids & marriage stories Lol 😀 !
Here we are almost 11 years later with our daughters in Disneyland Paris, sharing unforgetable memories with each others families. Unfortunately her husband couldnt make it due to work, we missed him and will definetely repeat this family gathering in Hawaii next, thats where I want to go :D. ( I have to talk to Lorisa, oh and my husband ) :). Do you sometime forget to discuss decisions with your husband?
Well I do, when it comes down to vacation Lol ( only, I promise ) there is not much there is to be discussed :-/. A happy wife is a happy life.

slumber party girls time, no boys allowed. Jason had to stay outside of the living room and when he wanted to enter he needed to say the keyword while jumping up and down in a circle. We laughed so hard….! Zoe loves to get her nails done and she really chooses ten dif colors, one color for each nail :-/, tell me I can ever say no to this girl. Aunt Lorisa couldnt either. Girls will be girls!
