Freeway Restaurant and Bar in Russelsheim
Friday night out with the fam and niece. The Freeway Restaurant has been around for a while in Nauheim area and recently moved to Russelsheim / Konigstaedten in a much bigger place which as you can see is gorgeous and very american Diner Bar like.
I love, love, love the booth seats, it reminds me so much like America. I love the lay out and all the american car signs from all states the owner has collected over the years. They even have a smoking area for the smokers.
Although I love the interior this wasn’t my favorite american restaurant I been to. Out of 5 stars I would give it 2,5 for their food, 3 for the staff, and 5 stars for the interior decor.
One thing I have to add, please please do not use this dark not good looking serving plates anymore Freeway, just white ones would be perfect.

The girls are always so happy going out, and order same thing in every Restaurant-chicken nuggets with fries / Pommes in german.

kids chicken nuggets with fries. The nuggets were actually really good. Not too oily and made out of fresh chicken.
That was my meal, chicken with veggies and Bratkartoffeln / fried potatoes. Ive asked only veggies and no potatoes, they unfortunately served me the potatoes, they were very very oily! I couldnt eat them. The veggies were so good though, there was soy bean sprouts and the chicken was just right, very juicy and tender. I dont remember the order number from the menu though-sorry :-/. I would order this meal again without the potatoes.
My husbands first plate lol, cheeseburger with baked potatoe. They say the meat is real beef, but it seemed froyen to us.Was okay! Thats all.
Hubbys second dish, chicken wings. The batter is NOT like we are used to in the states, much lighter. Just okay also. 2 out of 5 stars.
One thing husband I really liked and appreciate is that they serve this water bowl along with the chicken wings for you to wash hands after you are done eating away! so cool, thank you freeway restaurant
